The Logo I designed for Radio Faza’s project Fazapedia, an educational series based on the traditional encyclopedia.
Logo Design
When designing a logo for Radio Faza’s new project Fazapedia, I first looked into the definition of the word pedia. I learned that Pedia is a suffix, a word added at the end of a word to form a derivative. This suffix relates to learning, which was ideal as the project’s core idea was to create short educational videos. We later decided on making each episode based on a letter, with each letter corresponding to a words encyclopedia entry. I then looked into imagery that could depict learning, education or knowledge—finally settling on a book for the final design in the company’s colours and with the company’s logo on the cover.

Fazapedia Videos
As stated earlier, Fazapedia was designed to create short educational videos based on the encyclopedia. The two videos below both show the animation I created as a promo and the intro to the videos. This animation was created in after effects and was made to look 3D using the 3D cameras the software has (this was my first time animating in 3D in After effects). The thumbnails I created for both of these videos also contain the logo above so that the videos are easily identifiable and linked to this project.
