Pinfold Promotions: Visuals / Proofs

One of the main jobs I’ve had while working at Pinfold Promotions has been to create digital visual proofs to show how the printed product will look, or to show the available print area. Below are the some from an average day as I have easily created and amended over 100 in my 3 years working at the company.

Pinfold Promotions – Varsity Hoodies

Above are some staff hoodies I visualised for Pinfold Promotions. I created an American University styled design which incorporated the companies newly branded colours and the same font as the logo was used for promotions. These were later printed which you might of seen me wearing here holding my Learn 2 Print/Heidelberg Apprentice of the Year 2024 trophy.

The Tipsy Cow – T-Shirt

The tipsy cow T-shirt shows the logo spoken about here on the left chest on a black tee, which is a pretty standard print area for clothing. With the print area being around 90mm – 100mm. The visual template it was designed on is the older version before the logo was changed and so that is why the Pinfold branding looks a little different to the one above.

Derby Homes – Bottle

To the left is a Derby homes visual for a bottle. Similarly to the above, I used the vector artwork I explained creating here and placed it onto he bottle in the allocated print area for this product (shown in red).

Deutsche Bank – Pen

For pride month every year since I have worked for Pinfold Promotions, Deutsche Bank have had Items printed with their logo in the pride colours, this is an example of it on a pen with one image showing the logo’s size in the print area (created in adobe illustrator. The other shows how the final product will look which I created using photoshop and imported onto the Illustrator file.

Waitrose – Flag

To the left is a visual proof of a flag Waitrose requested a visual for. I put together the artwork which they had sent over as individual assets e.g. the photo, sample text and the background artwork, this was done in Illustrator. I then Photoshopped what I had created onto a sample photo we had of the product and then added that to the Pinfold Promotions visual template.

De Montfort Uni – Hoodie

Here we have another clothing visual for De Montfort University. This visual is similar to the previous clothing visuals above. However, the template is a custom one I created. For a few clients that order frequently with Pinfold I created their own visual template, which also has their print teams contact info (I’ve removed it for this image). This allows the Print team at DMU to send the visuals I create internally to other departments without Pinfolds branding all over it.
