While working for Pinfold Promotions I helped rebrand the company by changing the companies brand colours and altering the website and Logo to match… this can be seen in more depth here
I have also had to redraw logos for clients as the files they have sent have been JPEG or too low quality for print. To overcome this I redrew the logo I was sent over in Illustrator so its Vectorised. Read below to find out more and to see examples!
Pinfold Logo – Redesign

Old Main logo

Old 28 year anniversary logo (out of date)
The two old logos above used by the company were out dated and messy, they used too many colours and without any real reasoning, as the colours had no reason to be used. For example McDonald’s’ golden arches are kid-friendly and fun which fits the brand image well. However, these logo’s convey nothing about the company and also look messy as nothing really stands out.

New logo and alternate colour ways
The new Pinfold logo in comparison to the above is a lot more sleek and simple. The company name is a lot easier to read, the colours stand out more and also the use of greens, fit the brands eco image they want to convey. The Sheep remained unchanged as the company requested this but also because it was easily recognisable with the company in the previous logo’s even more so than the name.
Abigail Fitness – Redraw

This logo needed redrawing so that it was a vector file. The client had made her own version but only had the logo as a low quality JPEG. As the client was ordering printed clothing, the logo would not have been suitable to print as it was unreadable with pixelated lettering.
Using the Pen tool in Adobe Illustrator I traced the file the client had sent over as closely as possible… As the file was really low quality some details might have been slightly altered compared to the original, this is because a level of interpretation was required. The client was informed of this and approved the final version.
The Tipsy Cow – Redraw

This logo also needed redrawing so that it was a vector file. The client wanted some T-Shirts and so the logo needed redrawing and the text needed altering to have a white stroke around the black text. This was to make the text visible when printed on the ordered black tees (see visual here)
Derby Housing – Redraw

This logo again needed redrawing in adobe illustrator, to make a vector image suitable for print. The logo was to be printed on a green bottle which again I visualised (here). As the logo was being printed on a bottle, at quite a reasonable size. The quality and pixelation would have been extremely visible to anyone looking at it.
Building Happier – Redraw
