Radio Faza (Employer)

Radio Faza is a community radio station located in Hyson Green, Nottingham. The station started in 2002 , and has over 100,000 listeners. Radio Faza also has a number of projects beyond what you would think of when you hear radio station. These consist of sports teams, educational video series, Drone/Vlog videos and Animated children’s cartoons as the station focuses primarily on community and listeners/viewers of all ages.

My Role:

My job title at Radio Faza was “Graphic Designer”. I was the only in house designer for half the period of time I worked there and I only worked there for 6 months, as this was part of the Kickstart scheme (which I completed). My job consisted in creating show posters, social media images to be posted, creating animations for intros and kids stories and creating designs for clients such as wedding signs.

Because I was part of the Kickstart Scheme I also completed 3 courses. The first being in “Introduction to Growing Sales”, the second being in “Principles of Customer Service” and the third being in “Creating an Online Profile Using Social Media”.
