Below are a few of the illustrations I created while working for Collaborative future, as an Intern. I was given creative freedom in some aspects of the brief. However, there was still a brief that needed to be followed.
Instagram Illustration
Above is artwork designed for an Instagram post. I was given a quote and the brand guidelines for fonts and colours. I was also told they wanted the illustration to be in a minimalist corporate style and to look hand-drawn.
I came up with the concept pretty quickly, for the girl to be sat working and for there to be a superhero figure behind them. This Illustration was drawn on paper and inked traditionally, I then scanned the artwork with my Cannon scanner and coloured the piece in Photoshop.
While working in Photoshop resized the project to fit the Instagram dimensions, as that was Collaborative Futures requested format. I then coloured the piece in the companies brand colours and added the quote in one of their brand approved fonts.
Presentation Illustration
Here is a an illustration designed for the Catalyst Network, which I created while working at collaborative future. The brief I was given was to design an illustration for a presentation, I was given statistics on how employees responded when hearing the quote “I feel like we belong to the Catalyst Network”, and was asked to draw a breakroom and divide of peoples responses, again in a similar style to the first Illustration.
